Hi all,
I pay into a private pension and would like to add a lum sump payment; would this be used to calcuate my overall yearly payments (i.e reduce) or, would this have a negative effect.
Guess am asking if would make me pay more or less CMS payments
Many thanks for your constructive replies.
Hi,
With Private pensions, CMS has no visibility of it, so you would need to tell them right away if there's been any changes. They might adjust your maintenance right away, or they might say they will do it for your next annual assessment. If your paying more into your pension, then you should pay less maintenance.
