Hi
my daughter lived with her mother and I paid maintenance which was agreed with us. There has since been a fall out and my daughter is now living with her older sister. She is now asking for child maintenance. Where does she stand with this as she isn’t the legal guardian?
I feel she should have some of the maintenance as her mum still has a mortgage to pay for which was to house my daughter.
I am still paying her mother for now who is sending money to her daughters but she’s at the age of 16 and wants more to fund drugs also.
also if she goes to the CSA how will they calculate payment from both parents?
Thanks in advance
I'd have a word with Child Maintenance Options to see where both you and your ex wife stand with this, I wouldn't even like to guess and the positon in your case.
