Hi all,
Apologies for my delayed response. I am still going through the Industrial Injuries process....
Having submitted the paperwork to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) which is quite in-depth, I was then asked to attend a medical. Again, this was in-depth and very intrusive. The doctor submitted their report back to the DWP where a decision is made. However, I have just been contacted by the DWP stating that although the medical report was received by them, they have since lost it. Yes mistakes do happen, but the crazy thing about this is that the doctors do not keep any records of the examinations they conduct. I am being advised that I may have to attend a second medical appointment which to be honest I'm not looking forward to.
As soon as I have a definitive update with regards to the CSA and whether I will revert to the flat rate or pay extra then I'll update you guys.
Kind regards
John
