Hi,
My story involves my ex who signed my son over to her mother in November but has still been claiming CSA off me. CSA contacted me and said the case would be closed due to her not receiving benefits since November, I asked would I be refunded for the overpayments and was told yes it will take several weeks.
I pay by direct debit and am aware of the direct debit indemnity throuugh my bank, Which can provide me an imediate refund, then its upto the CSA to prove I shouldnt have a refund.
Has anybody took this route before? Or just waited for a refund?
I haven't been in this position before, hopefully one of our other members might be able to share their experience.
Personally I would keep chasing them up on it. they can be slow and make mistakes so it's worth doing.
