Hi just looking for some advice.

I have a 2.5 year old with my ex partner. She stopped me from seeing my son from the second he was born. I fought in court and spent £15,000 gaining access to him. Since getting access I now have him on a Tuesday and Thursday 17:00-19:30 and every other weekend Friday-Sunday.
I currently pay £45 per week through CMS but I would like pay her directly instead.
I don’t like CMS knowing how much I am earning etc.

I cannot think of a way of asking his difficult mother a way to change from CMS to direct payments

hi,

you could try asking CMS to close case, but they would likely tell you they will only close case if receiving parent agrees, and they would contact her.

I agree, assuming your ex opened the case with CMS, only she can close it, so you would need to get her to do that with CMS.
