New to this so bare with me please but looking into everything i can. Just want to make it clear i have always paid for my son since he was born 8 years ago. Don't want to talk bad about my ex partner as i am not that type of person but after being in agreement for almost 7 years, she decided to try and take me for my every last penny.
my question is..
My cms payments have increased as i worked more overtime last year, so i have just received my assessment and i am having to pay £70 a month more. I have been told this is because i have earned over my threshold? can somebody clarify what this is please?
are there thresholds what you earn and then you pay more? as i thought it was just a percentage of my wage?

Unfortunately your payments increase if you work overtime, get bonus or pay rise.
At any time if your income increases by 25% or more, your payments increase. If your income reduces by 25% or more, your payments reduce. Usually you have to report these changes to them, to avoid falling foul of their rules.
