Dear all,
I'm in need of help to fight against the injustices for ex partners paying Child Maintenance yet seemingly having no rights. I am being charged £83 a week DEO, I was late with one payment last Nov '21 of £49.27, the first in over 16years. I now have to wait 6 months for my "parole" as I call it before I can apply to pay the CMS direct, and then another 6 months before I can apply for direct pay again....
I feel like a criminal, tried and found guilty without the right to reply. All I get is "it's all black and white"... My understanding following the CSA collapse was that the CMS were meant to work with families serving both in their best interest.
I want them to be held accountable so who does this??
hi,
would recommend you join this facebook group - CMS support for non-resident parents: https://www.facebook.com/groups/239699060076601
if you join, make sure to answer their registration questions, or they will not let you join.
