I am literally strugging to live. I pay monthly CSA payments but wanted to know If I would be able to contact the CSA and asked them if I would be able to miss a couple of payments due to me struggling to cope and being in a lot of debt.
Do you think they would agree for me to miss a least 2 months payments so that I can breathe
Help much appreciated and urgently!
Hi there
I'm sorry to hear you are struggling....unfortunately the CSA are without compassion in such circumstances. If you don't pay they will take it directly from your salary, if they don't already.
You could call them and see what they say but I wouldn't be too hopeful. I wish I could be more optimistic for you.
Hi Abel47,
As NJ says missing your maintenance payments are not a great idea.
Have you thought about getting some support for your debt issues? StepChange are a charity that help support people who are having money issues. They don't charge for their help and can help you get on a debt management plan to start paying off your creditors.
Keeping talking
