hi there my son is now 18 yrs old and has passed his electricians course at college and has a year as an apprentice now what happens next do i continue maintenance payments or do they now stop as there's no way his mum will tell me if they stop thanks so much.

Hi, if child stays in approved and non advanced education, you could end up paying maintenance till child is 20 or soon as child no longer gets child benefit. If your paying through CMS you can ring them and ask if child benefit case still open
