Hello, I'm new here. I've lived in the UK before and payed CMS but when I lost my job or found a new one. Once I told them they never updated it. And now I owe about 5000. I never knew this until the debt collectors went to my sisters house (just where my letters go)
I have on the other hand moved country. I have told CMS this and they said on the back end of that, the CMS case will close as there's nothing that can be done. The kids mum absolutely drives me insane about money. I ask to facetime when I'm home and it's just money. I come back to the UK to see the kids every chance I can.
I have told the debt collectors that I live in germany and they said CMS havnt updated them on that and that they will be turning up to my sisters house. Even though I have no possessions in England or any ties but the kids. I have no idea what's going on.
Has anyone else got any info on what to do? I'll be calling everyone again Monday (28th Oct) if they are just going to take the **** then I said I'll go back and deal with when I'm back home (not my sisters).
Thank you if anyone has anything they like to say or ask please do.
