CSA have contacted me to say that they are taking £560 a month out of my wages that are only £1625 a month. I live in a room in a shared house which costs £480 a month. Then I have the usual bills, car insurance etc. I have another child on the way in may whom I do not live with. this would be another £255 per month. That leaves £50 per month to cover food and debts. Just don't know where to turn...

£560 seems very high? Is this some sort of back payment?

The csa can take up to 40% of your income as back payment. You may need to ring them and explain that you have another child on the way. Once you've explained that you will be paying for 2 children they may be able to advise you and a better payment plan. Keep records of csa payments, rent, bills etc. To show them (if needed) that you will struggle to make ends meet.
