Daughter turned 18 csa closed case, now demanding 7,000 arrears from 2003 wanting me to pay £92 a week to pay this off in turmoil any help cheers
Why has it taken so long for them to chase for arrears?
Contact your MP as soon as possible to ask them to take up your case - take along written notes to give to him/her so nothing is missed and ask him to raise a complain.
Hopefully Huxley will post on here as he's very familiar with the current workings of the CSA complaints process.
Sorry I've only just seen this
Before a case is closed, the original applicant is asked if they want the arrears collecting or not
Have you actually received written confirmation the case has been closed?
Before the case was closed were you making regular payments or were you nil assessed?
