My 19 year old finishes college on a diploma course this summer and has applied to go to uni but had to complete a year course to access the degree. I pay maintenance every month. When do I stop paying? I can work out if it is now or when he is 20. I just want it to be clear. Thanks for any help.

Does the money have to go to my ex?

I presume that this course is a pre-U course - see this post here

which basically says you have to pay. And yes, it does have to go to your ex.

thanks for the replies I have looked at the course it is a foundation degree with an option of taking a further year to make it the full degree. I presume that this is university level and I therefore for have to pay? Still confused and hoping for further advice and clarification. Thanks.
