Hi could anyone please help, my son has been living with myself and my partner since February, my ex girlfriend denied this for some time to the child benefit office, this was finally sorted at the beginning of May. I have instructed the CSA as she would not come to any arrangement regarding our son. I currently still pay her for our daughter who lives with her, the CSA reduced my payment to her by £7 a week for our son now living with me so she still gets £330 a month in maintenance from me. When have received a letter this week it shows that she has reduced her earning to £140 from £280ish, I know she earns the higher amount because she has given me copies of her bank statements showing that my son had bought microsoft points. Is there anything I can do to make the child support look at her earnings again. She is very friendly with her employer and I think they may have provided false information, as she refused to send her payslips into the CSA.
Thank you in advance.
The CSA can check directly with the Inland Revenue, so the pay slips should be irrelevant - it takes them a couple of weeks I think, so push them to check this.
