[Solved] Drink test

I have the first hearing of my c100 application next week and have no solicitor as i cannot afford one. I have had all sorts of allegations made against me to childrens services and the police but believe they have finally all been dropped as the lies they are. I know for a fact that my childrens mother drinks 6-7 nights every week and have told social services and everyone else about it but because of all the accusations made against me nobody would listen as they thought i was just throwing dirt. Now that i am finally going to get into a courtroom i would like to ask the judge to get my ex to do a hair follical test for alcohol. I have no phisycal evidence and am a bit worried that they will say no. Is this test something a judge would grant on a first hearing?
Really need help, feel like i have been 10 steps behind for the last 18 months and i have havnt seen my kids in 4 months. Somebody got to find her out if not the judge then im lost.

Hi There,

Unless you have some evidence that your ex's drinking would put the children at risk then I think you may struggle to get a test enforced.

I would leave this for now and concentrate on trying to see your children, we have found that by doing as the courts ask you will come out the other side much better off and a lot sooner than trying to fight every turn.

It doesn't mean that you shouldn't be concerned or keep a close eye on things but for now concentrate on the court case and getting to see your children, if you still feel further down the line that the drinking is an issue or it's gotten worse then act
