Dividends and working part-time

Hi,

Currently going through the CMS process. I have my own business but also work part-time for someone else.

Hypothetically, could I leave all my company profits untouched in the business and just declare my part-time salary to the CMS?

Thanks for your help guys.

hi,

if the company is generating income, then CMS would take it into account. so when you do your annual accounts and submit to HMRC, this gets flagged with CMS when they do your annual review. Another way is if your ex partner is aware of your company, and they request a variation for CMS to look into your company accounts.
