Deduction from Earnings - Pre/post tax?

Hi,

I have a deduction from earnings order. This has just come in place while i am taking the matter to a tribunal as my ex is committing benefit fraud.

Does anyone know if the money will come out of my wage before the tax and ni is calculated or after?

thanks

hi,

CMS would have told your employer to apply the DEO. So deductions should show up on your pay slip, pre-tax/ni as far as I know. your employer would have better knowledge.
