So they've CMS have just taken 1000 out of my account directly through a lympnsum deduction order no warnings nothing if my bank hadn't have told me I'd be none the wiser this was half what was in my account I'm awaiting a DBS to commence work so currently unemployed and they've taken half my funds, if a random person was to do this it would be fraud but there allowed surley this isn't right.

hi,

unfortunately CMS do have these powers. they have been speeding up the process, by not applying to court.

Have you ever changed address in past few years? if you have and haven't told CMS, then possible they were sending letters to old address.

have you checked your online CMS account? could be messages in there.

I recommend you join this support group for paying parents:
