I recently had a mid-year calculation after having to send 2 payslips and they want me to pay more than I should be doing (they have said I'm earning more than I am, not sure how they calculated because I had to give 2 payslips!). I'm going to do a mandatory reconsideration. In the meantime, do I continue to pay what I originally was, or do I have to pay the higher amount on the incorrect calculation?

When it's due for my annual calculation next year, will they continue on this new payslip data, or do they just take another look at my 2022-2023 tax data from HMRC and do a new calculation based off that?

Hi,

I suggest you ring them and ask if you can pay original amount while they sort out your calculation. Would have thought if you send 2-3 payslips, they can work it out correctly. Has your wages increased by 25% or more since the last review?
