[Solved] CSA & Director Dividends

Hi,Just wondering if anyone has had issues with Directors Dividends being taken into consideration ?
I am Currently awaiting the final details of a payment review which is being calculated from my last years salary & Dividends payments !
This is very concerning as this is not a true reflection of my Current income because "Dividends are not a guaranteed source of income" !!
As it stands..i am not earning as much as last year due to a downturn in work volumes which has meant less company profit available to pay Dividends...
The CSA seem to have no idea of how to deal with the situation & I fear a big problem coming my way !!!
Anyone had a similar issue ??
Should i appeal the decision straight away??

Any help would be greatly Received.....

Kind Regards
🙂

This is not one I've come across. As a suggestion, could you propose to them that you pay a one off amount of a percentage of your dividend after tax (ie 15%/20%/25% depending on number of children) - if possible spread over the next 6 months - so that your assessment continues to be calculated on your monthly income. Having said that - it also depends on what your dividend is in relation to your income - the CSA won't recalculate now unless your income changes by more than 25% ( https://www.gov.uk/child-maintenance/changes-you-need-to-report) so if your dividend is less than 25% of salary, you could argue that you don't need to inform them anyway.
