Good evening
I am new to this site and would really like some help, my daughter is now 20 years old, i paid the CSA until she was 13 via deduction of earnings, then my ex agreed to drop the CSA claim because we agreed to have joint custody. Everything has been fine until this week when I have received a letter stating I owe £2000 from the CMS, I have spoke to these wonder people, who informed me that I under paid between 2008-2011. But I remember when my case was stopped by ex, I was informed by the CSA at the time I had actually overpaid. I am little confused and was wondering what will be my next steps.
hi,
you should ring CMS again. ask them for evidence, how exactly you under-paid. you can also ask to make a complaint about this.

Thanks. I will ring them again tomorrow
