Does anyone know how the CSA treat share schemes? I have been lucky enough to be given company shares (which attract income tax that I've paid through PAYE).
However, I haven't sold them but the full value shows on my payslips/P60. So does the maintenance I pay get calculated on what I've been taxed on (even though the shares are not converted to cash) or is it assessed only when I sell them or are they even included at all?
Any help or assistance welcome!

May be a silly question, but why is your employer giving you shares outside a scheme that offers tax advantages? (look here https://www.gov.uk/tax-employee-share-schemes/overview) - if you are being taxed, I can't see any advantage over being paid a higher salary.
Either way, I'd have a word with CSA to see how they view the schemes - it's not something I have come across before in relation to child maintenance, but I'd certainly be curious to know how they view it.
