My daughter is now 25 last year got a letter saying I owe £7000 which iv paid but didn’t record any payment as gave her it in cash which my daughter know and will say but my daughter and her mother are try to get the money out of me after so many years

is there any written evidence of the payments you gave? emails, text, letters, whatsapp?
No nothing as this is going back 13 years ago
My daughter is now 25 with two children and it under the old CSA and she lived with me for a year no application was made before she left education
