hello all, just a quick question. i might be starting a job abroad son on good money, but am worried to tell the csa because of the complicated way of working out an assessment on csa1- the question i ask is - is there a maximum maintenance payment for a 17 year old, i heard that it is 1.5x the maintenance requirement that the csa state?
plus i have a daughter in my new relationship, which would reduce the assessment too???

There's a link to the CSA1 leaflet in a sticky at the top of the child maintenance section. It's called "how does the CSA calculate payments". There are three links for 1, 2 and the current scheme. Just follow the links for CSA1.... Wait a couple of minutes before opening the link though as I seem to remember its slow to load.
