Criteria For CMS Payments wales

Sorry if this has been covered previously within the group but keep hitting a dead end.  My Daughter left school in the June 2023 to start an apprenticeship in hairdressing level 2.

My ex partner has continued to claim Child benefit and as Such my CMS payments have continued.  I have rang the CMS several times and submitted documents contract of employment (My daughters) etc but no one seems to look at them (Even been told I was put down an automated route). So my questions if any one can help:

1: From Sept 2023 my daughter attended collage 9am till 5pm (8 hrs) 1 day a week all the information I can find says for CMS payment this must be over 12 hours in education (She since no longer attends since June 2024)

2: My daughter works more than 25 hours a week increasing this year from march all information I can see says she must work less than 22 hours for CMS payments?

3: My daughter also receives the national minimum wage for the hours work, she turns 18 in march and this too will increase, again all information i can find says that during her apprenticeship that remuneration should no be paid for CMS payments to continue.

Can Anyone shed some light on this as i feel i am beating my head against a tree trying to get a straight answer from the CMS even though i have supplied evidence inc. information from the CMS that states the above. The citizen advices has said this correct and that I should not pay, but the CMS keep saying that due to child benefit being claimed, that CMS will continue.

This is based in wales so know the rules are slightly different.

Thanks in advance Kris
