Hi,
I need some advice on where I stand and possible best course of action if possible please.
I have 2 children and they both stay with me but each of them only stay 1 night every 2 weeks, i.e I have David on the Saturday and Goliath on the Sunday.
From a CMS point of view according to there written, would that mean I would NOT be entitled to 1/7 deduction in CMS payment?
I ask this because even though I only have each child once every 2 week, indirectly that is the equivalent of having 1 child two night every 2 weeks is it not?
And costs me the same amount as such, yet I do not get any reduction currently.
Any advice how I can best manage this please, thank you in advance.
hi, unfortunately 1 night every 2 weeks would not entitle you to a reduction. if kids were staying friday-sunday every other weekend, that would be classed as 4 nights a month, so 1 night a week. then you would get a reduction, but its would be in region of £40-50 off your payments per month.
