hello all dads.
anyone had a fine from cms?
I have updated my circum. Started full time employment. They hv come back and said " our recordes show you have several jobs since 2018. I have been on nil rate cos of no job.
2 previous jobs back in 2018 , first one lasted 1 month .Second lastly 3.5 months. I didnt declare these.
any ideas
Hi,
I have never had a fine, but their rules state that you should always inform them of job changes within 7 days of starting job. I told them about a job that only lasted 2 weeks. so what they will likely do is find out how much you earned in those past jobs and make you pay arrears/back-dated payments.
Hi
I know that you can be fined for not declaring a change of circumstances, eg a new job but I think they have to take you to court etc... Usually they just do as Bill says...
