[Solved] CMS Calculator For Ltd Companies

Hello all - my wife and I work through limited company, both directors drawing low salary and dividends for tax efficiency. The intention is that she will be removed from the ltd totally as part of the divorce.

However all the benefit calculators we have seen ask for gross income weekly and no reference to dividends. So what should we be entering here ?
And I read that sometimes gross profits are factored in, but the calculators don't seem to ask for this ?

Hi There,
.
As a limited company, the profits that the company make as far as I am aware, don't get looked into by CMS, they will look at the payment of wages you pay yourself, they will look at your monthly wage as well as any dividends you pay yourself.
.
As it is your company and you are paying yourself from it, effectively you are your own employee, and as such you will assessed by CMS as an employed person.
.
As said this is as far as I know and my understanding of this, it would be worth checking with CMS.
.
