This is my first post. I am hoping someone can help. I have just had my annual review completed and they have used an incorrect tax year (14/15). They said that my current one (15/16) is not available on there systems. However, l have checked with HMRC and they have confirmed that the data is available. The CMA wont do anything blaming the system. I have had an offical letter from HMRC stating that they have 15/16 data and the CMA today have refused.
Unfortunately the data they are using are from an old employer where l got made redundant from. I have new work and dont get paid as much as 14/15 but not the 25% difference. So l had to pay more for 12months last year. I was informed that my payments would reduce this year, to even this out.
I cant pay another 12months of the higher amount can someone help?
Thanks
Hi There,
.
You should be able to appeal the amount set by CMS, they have forms to fill out on the website, you could also talk to CAB, it's best to visit CAB rather than use the online as you should get better help.
.
If you can't get anywhere then you could also approach your local MP to see if they could help you to get this resolved.
