Good afternoon, just after some advice regarding my CM case
I am currently a 2nd year full time nursing student, and am yet again having a battle with CMS. They, after accepting nil rate for my first year as a student, have now bounced me back onto the rate I was on when working full time for this year's payments. They did a mandatory reconsideration and are now asking for more info as if I've just now finished working. They were given proof of me doing a 3 year degree last year, and I've sent proof again showing I have enrolled on my 2nd year.
Called them today and they asked about partners income, we currently receive universal credit as a joint claim and get the grand sum of £78 per month after my student loans etc have been deducted pound for pound.
Are they going to now go back on the nil assessment and want the £7 per week benefits contribution? I live with my partner and her two children currently.
Hi,
If you get universal credit, then they would expect £7 a week maintenance
