Child working part time but in education

Looking for some advice from anyone who has been in this situation. My 16 year old has recently moved in with me from her mother's, permanently. While I am in the process of making a new claim for child maintenance, I was wondering if anyone was able to tell me what will happen if my child gets a part time job but is still in full time education.

Will this impact the payments at all?

hi,

no, payments should not be impacted as long as child in full time education, and you are receiving child benefit.

@dadmod2 Thank you. Now, not that I didn't believe you, but I called Child benefit and they have confirmed this, as long as she does not work more than 24 hours per week
