Am I right in thinking child maintenance is only 12% of your gross weekly income I pay £50 a week but got promoted £25k (£520pw) to £28k (583pw) but according to the calculator it's £55 per week with 1 overnight a week I'm making an extra £63 per week but only rises by £5.00 a
(We have private arrangement)
I like to double check because ever since I got promoted my ex is only interested in my earnings and how much she can get lol
I'm not sure I agree with your maths - 25k is £480 per week and 28k is £538 per week. However, you are correct about the 12%, and if you think about it,, and with one overnight per week, that is reduced by 1/7th, so the percentage is actually 10.29% - if you are. so applying this to your rise in weekly income does result in an increase of about £6 per week, not far off what you are reckoning.
Just seems penuts against the earnings I'm taking home so much more it feels ,it's like my child support has been wiped out because I'm make 200 a month more lol
You could offer to pay more, or pay for an activity, so that you know it's going where you want it to go.
