After been left with £20k debt from ex partner and having my children each and every weekend for over 12 years. The benefits to a mother doing everything to prevent the children from seeing their dad far far out weigh any moral feeling of what is wrong or right. Child maintenance are their to force father's to work themselves to an early grave. Child maintenance are in no way and have never been doing what they can to help children.
After paying child maintenance for 14-15 years and spending around £30k, taking my childrens mother through court 4 times to protect my children I was eventually rewarded shared care. 50/50.
My children loved it, as I did. However using the CMS calculator this is not working well with their mum.
Breaking the law yet again, she moved home and changed my children's schools to ensure that they could not see me 50/50. As soon as she moved she informed child maintenance.
CMS lied and lied to me. They told me I had to give her £460 a week. But they told her she was not entitled to anything until a desision was made in court. Stupidly she supplied the contradicting letter from CMS to the court.
CMS are still sure that I owe this imaginary amount and have added to it even thou I,ve not even worked. I explained to CMS that their calculation was ridiculous, I offered to pay a more than generous amount even despite the circumstances. £400 a month. CMS words were, she does not accept, she wants us to go full hog on you. Eventually CMS dropped my expected payments to £380 a week!
Soooo on a good week I,LL clear after tax £580. But they want 14% which I have proved countless times that what HMRC tell them I collect each week and what I actually get each week is nothing close. Plus I can travel 4 hours a day, using my own car and fuel.
What is even more messed up! They expect me to give her £1500.00 tax free a month for preventing my children from seeing me, but they expect me to live on £600 a month! So in reality, she gets free housing, full benefits for working just 16 hours a week, she receives full child benefit. Her new husband works full time and earns more than I do but also claims for his daughter. Their combined income is between 6-7k a month after tax. That's without what she is scamming from her 3rd child's fake dad. Please don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the idea of child maintenance. I just don't understand just how flawed it is and why they pay fortunes to people to scour the internet to remove any information that could help dad's that are been abused like myself.
Just how can she breech yet another court order and yet again get told by CMS she,s entitled to further cause me more abuse and degradation? This happens to so so many dad's, but try and do a search online! They are all deleted! Check on mums net however, how to further cause harm to your children's father and the advice is endless!
I looked to join a petition on this matter today, but there are no e to join unless you want to impose prison time to a father that can't meet the ridiculous made up calculations of the CMS.
Just a fact! Why would a company "CMS" give a women private information about their former partner during a 50/50 court order if the only had the children's best interests in mind?
CMS are telling the mum, "do what you can to stop the children from seeing their father" we will make some random number up, tell him loads of lies, and on top we,LL take 20% on top of what we are stealing from him. Don't worry about the harm caused to the children, you will never have to get a job giving you all the time in the world to brainwash them.
It,s a complete joke and needs to be stopped asap
If just 5 dad's that have similar experience read this and convey their own experience, and how currupt the system is, many more may stand up and together we can maybe do something to protect our children from the CMS encitement and rewards and the government rewards and our economy may start to rise [deleted]
