The new CMS, what a sham! My new maintenance payments have been assessed on 2014 data from HMRC. I am now registered disabled and my monthly income has been reduced by £1500. The CSA reduced my payment but the CMS have raised it back to the original 2014 amount. I cannot aford to live now and the CMS don't give a flying f#ck! Can anyone help?
Hi, you really need to get in touch with your local MP or CAB, they will be able to help you deal with this.
Hi
The CMS should not do that, they have no jurisdiction. If your income has fallen by more that 25 per cent you should seek a Supersession or Variation (to take account of any Special medical expenses you may have). The authority should review you case and revise your liable downwards.
All the best
I agree with Yoda, ask them to look at it again under special circumstances and if still no joy then I would escalate it as a complaint and go and see your MP.
All the best
