Hi all
Please can anyone that agrees with cms calulations being worked out from net income instead of gross income sign the petition via the below link.
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/641721
There are also also petitions ongoing to get changes made, if you feel the cms calculations are unfair please have a look through them all and sign if you feel its appropiate.
Thank you all for your time in reading this.
Just for information, the CSA used to work maintainence out on net income, rather than gross, but the percentages were high (16%/20%/25% for 1/2/3 children if I recall correctly) - the change to net benefitted anyone earning below about £22k I think.
I just dont feel the system is fair, dont get me wrong im more than happy to provide for my child, i pay 500 pound per month, theres no way my ex spends anywhere near that, only the other day he asked me to glue his trainers back together as mum cant afford new ones yet she can spend 900 pound on a puppy bulldog, i obviously bought him some new trainers, cms should ask for proof of where the money goes.
