Hi

I’m moving to Australia and will need to pay higher child maintenance each month, I would like to fly my daughter out twice a year but flights will cost approx £2500 + a year. Will this change the monthly amount?

hi,

are you paying maintenance as a private arrangement?

@dadmod2 hiya a private arrangement

it always has been luckily. I also have another question and unsure on this one.. . My daughter’s step dad earns a lot of money and purchases most things for my daughter. Does their house hold income affect the amount of child maintenance I pay? Affectively just goes into her pocket

hi,

you could discuss the flight costs with childs mother and try seek reductions in maintenance.

with UK child maintenance, receiving parents household income is not taken into account.
