Child benefit and resident parent working/ assets

Hi all, A few queries:

1. If the resident parent is receiving child benefit, is this offset/ reduced (or can it be) from the CMS payment by the paying parent/ Ive received conflicting advice on this?

2. If the resident parent has a job or assets etc, is that not factored in any where in the paying parents CMS payments?

3. If the resident parent re-marries, does that have any impact on paying parents CMS payments

Thanks

Hi there

Its a no to all of your queries. Cms is based on you and your contribution towards your children. Your exes assets and income nor remarriage are not considered.

All the best.
