Spurgeons and Dad.Info doesn’t investigate reports of abuse or neglect. But below, you can find advice on who to contact if you have concerns about a child or young person.
Reporting a concern
It can be difficult to know what to do if you think a child is at risk. It’s important to remember that if you’ve spotted things that don’t seem right, others will have too. Speaking up can make sure that child gets help as soon as possible.
The sooner you contact your local children’s social care duty team, the quicker they can act. They’re available 24 hours a day, and can make an anonymous report if that feels safer. If a child is in immediate danger, please call the police straight away by dialling 999.

Hi
I am a non resident parent with an open case on CMS, currently paying to a child from previous relation.
me and current partner with whom I have a second child jointly acquired a flat via mortgage.
How is that going to affect my case with CMS? What may change? Do I have to declare this to CMS?
if I become unemployed can CMS repossess my house even though is a joint mortgage?
Hi,
No CMS can not make claims on a property that you live in. No need to declare.

I assume CMS are aware of your second child? That will reduce the maintenance you have to pay.
@actd
they are aware but didn’t took it in consideration as she does not receive Child Benefit ( her mother has high income therefore not elegible according to CMS, however still under investigation)

I've just done a quick calculation using the CMS calculator based on £35k per year (seemed a reasonable figure), with zero overnights, and that gives a monthly payment of £348 if you have no dependant children living with you, and that drops to £310 per month for one dependant child living with you. You definitely need to chase that up.
