Bonus payments skewing CM

Hi all,

I've recently joined a new company and the job is fantastic. My basic wage has slightly increased but I've hit massive bonuses this year which has added 18k to my wages. This isn't guaranteed. These bonuses are paid quarterly. I'm worried about the impact this will have on my payments when it is reviewed in May. My payment could theoretically go upto £600 a month from £450, but I'm not earning that amount.

Is there a way to show that my wage has decreased? For instance if I provide 3 months of wage slips without any bonus?

Thanks in advance

hi,

yes unfortunately any bonuses mean your payments will increase when they do annual review. also if your income increases by 25% at any point in the year, that can trigger a recalculation of your payments. better to inform CMS, than them discovering it. as they are known to do periodic income checks throughout the year.

yes you can send 3 months of payslips to show stable income, but it sounds like your earnings will vary  a lot due to bonuses.
