[Solved] Assessment

My other half hasn't had an assessment since 2005, we are wondering if we start asking questions with the CSA as to whether his daughter is in fully education etc they may reassess his claim. Would be grateful for any comments

I would imagine they would, and I'm more surprised that his ex hasn't asked them to do so. How old is his daughter now?

She will be 18 in August and she lives with her Nan (long story). Since leaving school, she went onto do an admin course, but left that to now do hairdressing. After reading that it needs to be 12hrs or more then we are thinking of asking them to ask questions.

You will have trouble proving it, I actually called the CSA today to inform them my daughter was no longer in full time education and is working over 24hrs a week, they did a check and said the PWC is still claiming child benefit, so CSA was still payable

He advised me to call the fraud line, it won't do any good

Well thats [censored] sounds as though the child benefit is linked to there system and if the PWC is claiming thats the end of it. No investigation or nothing.

Tell me about it, I even told them the dates she quit college, where she is working, what college she attended

They said they can't ring and check its data protection but its ok for the PWC to fraudently claim CB!

I certaintly will be taking this further if the CSA say I still have to pay for her when I'm moved over to the new system in the next year or so, I shall write to my MP (at the moment it doesn't affect my calculation)

Sounds as though we will have to do our own digging

Thing is I've done all the digging but CSA won't listen to me, they are taking the PWC word over mine

Now if that was me, I'd be reporting her for fraud now - that way she might think carefully about continuing the fraud if/when there are other children approaching the relevant age.

Uncanny that my other half has been asked for a review in the last 2 weeks, he has had to submit 2 wage slips. We are very confused on how the new amount will be worked out, his existing claim was opened in 2006. Any advice/help would be most appreciated.
