I have also had one of these letters first from the CSA then from the CMS.
phoned the CSA to be told that they could not tell me anything as my file was being transferred to the CMS and I would have to wait for them to contact me, which could take 3 months.
A month later I received the same letter from the CMS so I called them only to be told that they couldn't speak to me without a passcode which I don't have. They said they would send me one in the post with a detailed breakdown of the so called arrears. A month went by and nothing came so I went to see the CAB whole advised me to write to them. I have now wrote to them 3 times all sent by recorded delivery and I have still received nothing.
I have always paid my Ex every week by standing order and never missed.
Stressed out and terrified the bailiffs will call any day. Forgot to mention the amount is £2600.
CSA a joke.
As I mentioned previously, go and see your MP - they can raise a complaint at a higher priority than you can, which will start to get you somewhere.
Mate im waiting until I get a response off them ,then I'm going to see my mp,try not to stress because nothing you can do until they sort out their end .My kids are 16,24,25 and I've always paid ,got a letter of proof from the ex but they will probably still want of me to pay for all the dad's who do nothing!!!!...Gutted !!!!!!!..
