Any help or links on how you go about obtaining a top up award would be great fully received..
Is it worth me obtaining a top up award against the mother if she is earning £400,000 circa for a one off year.... Then you have to deduct her pension contribution etc I guess.
Hi and welcome to the forum
I've moved your post to the child maintenance section as it is a question about finances.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure what a top up award is and who has the children living with them.
Please can you give us some more information on the subject or one of our other members may have an understanding of this.
I'd speak to the CMS, if it's what I think it is you are referring, namely claiming maintenance from your ex where her income is over £156,000 per annum. I think it has to be done by applying to court (even if there's a case open with CMS), but it's not something I've actually had experience or knowledge of before.
