Hello, I've been paying for my child maintenance since the amicable separation even at times when I wasn't working but was informed by the CMS that I had to pay £500 a month based upon earnings I typically received whilst working as they didn't believe I wasn't working. Happy to do so but was very difficult to find the money. My child is nearly 19 and has just finished A levels at the end of July. CMS informed me that payments can end in July, then August and now November. They are quite confrontational, can anyone suggest any legal cover/insurance policy?

I'm not aware of any legal or insurance cover that would cover this, and in addition, even if it does exist, I very much doubt that they would cover where the situation is already in existance.
