[Solved] Advice wanted

I have 2 children by a bitter ex wife and whilst I was away on holiday she has decided to put a claim in with Child maintenance to get more money. Since the divorce we had a court order where I paid her every month. This has stayed the same for nearly 10 years regardless of the fact that I was out of work or when I worked less hours.
Basically she has always used the children as a weapon and an argument occurred one day which has now meant that one of the two children do not want to stay with me.
Please also take into consideration she has three failed marriages and her first husband ended up in a convalescent home because of her.

I have to now pay an extra £146 a month.

I have to pay £135 a month just to get back and forth to work but the child maintenance service didn't care about this.
Also, I have proof from her friends that she is leaving my children alone in the house whilst she goes to gigs etc. I tried telling the child maintenance service this also, and they weren't interested.

I just wanted some advice on the following:

I'd I have proof that maintenance isn't being spent on the children, can I take it further?

Can I claim back Fuel for picking up my children? (she has another new partner now so I either drive 60 miles return or 30 miles return)

Also, I do not men to sound petty but m I now entitled to pay for things like dinner money for school etc?
I know have to think carefully about what I am spending because the system is appalling. This woman does not work and have done this to three men, it's disgusting.

Hi

There is no adjustment made for however the money is spent, and maintenance is meant to cover things like utilities and providing a home for your children. You aren't required to pay anything at all beyond the calculated child maintenance. You may be able to get maintance reduced because of the travel, but the reduction will be a tiny amount.
