Good Afternoon

Can anyone help. my wife has my kids one night extra than myself , as we both share the kids but i pay her £ 143 pounds per month child mantanences

but come the weekend or the nights i have them i pay for all food and they have their own clothes at mine . and i have to go and collect them from and drop them off at

school and house (when l have .l also pay for clubs and days out when i have them

someone has said that i dont need to pay child mantanencess. if it is it would only be for one day and thats the extra day she has them

have you tried the CMS calculator on the website. Its hard to know anything with regard to figures etc, you'd have to have them for AT LEASE three nights but that still puts residency with mum, you'd be entitled to reduction £143 may be the reduced amount for all I know?

I too am frustrated with providing ad paying but what are you to do? refuse to have them - then you're on a real loser

If you have a family based arrangement that allows you to try and re negotiate terms. If this is a statutory arrangement via CMS then you have little option but to continue with the payments as set out by CMS.

If you think their calculation is wrong you should contact them to discuss it, you may be able to apply for a variation of they haven't taken the overnight stays into account when they calculated the amount you should pay. Here's a link to the calculator
