My input for what it is worth.....

Before any conversations are had about stopping maintanence, get the child benefit changed to your name. This will be hugely beneficial to you. After you have done this you can raise a CMS case against the mother if you so wish. If she is on benefits you will get £7 per week.

If you don't change the child benefit first, then this may happen.....

- You talk to mother about stopping maintenance as she is living with you.
- Mother gets irate at this and says you stil have to pay, and raises a CMS case against you
- The CMS will more than likely rule in her favour as she stil has child benefit, and you will be liable to pay. The CMS are heavily geared towards mothers, so if she tells the CMS that her daughter lives with her not you, they will most likely believe her,
