Make it worst we both live in the same town, but her work is is 23 miles away and she choose one near work. She tryiong to be differcult. For now just want to clear something up if anyone can help with the below.
I Share my daughter 50/50. the mother earns a lot more than me and I’m on benefits as well workking 30 hours. I rent as she use my child as a weapon to force me out of our home.. I was told I’m still entitles to maintence... is this correct?? not been getting any since we split.
Thanks in advance
Hi there
Who is claiming the child benefit? Generally, a 50/50 arrangement would cancel out maintenance being paid by either party... However if you claim the child benefit, you could open a case with the CMS to see if they feel you’re entitled to any.
