Catch ur kids doing something right today!
I asked my son to 'work on his manners recently'. This weekend I caught him waiting for others to to thru doors, saying thank you, not talking over others. It struck me - I can either be self satisfied OR I can praise him for being good.
So I worked on trying to catch him doing something right, and tell him so!
What fun, and what a smile on his face.
I realised it's so easy to give kids attention when they do things wrong. Kids need attention. So I'm working on giving that attention and praise for doing something right or kind.
Go oo, I dare you! Try it! Let me know how you get on 😉

A silly little one really, but it made me happy. My little 2 yr old went over and sat on his potty and did a poo, this is really good as he's been just lurking behind the sofa and doing it in his pants for a few weeks now, hopefully he's turned a corner. 😀 D
