Sometimes I wonder whether the world acually helps us in building self-esteem. don't you think that the world focuses on the outside image and yet the inside of our kids is most important?

I'm having such great conversations but what's interesting is that Its on attitude so often

Yeah you're right! However we have to equip them to survive in the world the way it is - very hard when the world I grew up in was so different 😕

Yeah, but I think "we adults" have a tendency to act in surprise when teenagers do stuff we don't agree with, when not necessarily providing a good example ourselves (*). Teenagers are smoking, drinking and sleeping around - wherever did they get those ideas from 😮

(*) Of course, I'm not including myself in that 😉
