Hi Gents,
I’ve not used this site in years but I’m back to ask for a bit of advice.
Due to malicious texts sent to the mother I’ve been told to self refer to a DVPP course. Before joining back to this page I did Google and contact a few people but only hit brick walls as “self referrals” arnt accepted with most accredited courses.
This is really important I do this as this is literally last chance saloon and it was the main point the court wanted to address.
any help is appreciated.
I guess that Cafcass/social services were involved at the hearing. Can you go back to them and ask to be referred?
@champagne thank you for your reply.
cafcass can no longer refer you, you have to refer yourself unfortunately. I rang cafcass but she had no information for me.
Hi all
I have been removed from the dapp course and wondered if anyone knew when you could reapply or if you would restart from where you left the course?
@tir2781 Hi I would suggest you contact the course provider direct and ask can you continue. I spoke to someone recently who were dropped from the course due to disagreements. they are now booked in for assessment because they want to get back on course.
@bill337 Do you think you have to start and pay for the programme all again?
@joet81 hi. Am not sure. If you can contact course provider they can tell you.
